1. Instructions for the Completion of the Flight Plan Form

Correct completion of each section of the flight plan form is now discussed. ITEM ITEM 7: AIRCRAFT IDENTIFICATION (MAXIMUM 7 CHARACTERS). Insert one of   the following aircraft identifications:

1. The registration marking of the aircraft (e.g GCLIF).

Do this whenever the radio telephony call sign used by the aircraft consists of this identification alone (e.g GCLIF), or of the ICAO telephony designator for the operating agency followed by the registration marking (e.g SPEEDBIRD GAWZZ). It is also necessary to enter the registration marking of the aircraft at Item 7 when the aircraft is not equipped with. radio.

1. The ICAO designator for the aircraft operating agency followed by the flight identification (e.g KLM544).

Do this whenever in radio telephony the callsign of the aircraft will consist of the ICAO telephony designator for the operating agency followed by the flight identification (e.g KLM544).

1. The callsign determined by the military authorities if this will be used to identify the aircraft in radiotelephony during flight................................................................ . . .   .    .    .
