G.A.R  General Aviation Report

What is a G.A.R form ?

When a aircraft leaves the mainland, the authorities require notification of departure and arrival back into the country.  When the G.A.R form is completed is must be sent to Special Branch, Customs and Immigration. Old Sarum is often visited by Special Branch when trips are organised.

Note:    If you are:-

1) Travelling to the Channel Islands you are required to give 12 hrs notice prior to departure.                            
2) Travelling to the Continent you are required to give 4 hrs notice but requested to give12 hrs notice prior to departure.

Once completed this form must be faxed to three authorities.
