G.A.R. General Aviation Report

When a aircraft leaves the mainland, the authorities require notification of departure and arrival back into the UK. When the G.A.R form is completed is must be sent to Special Branch, Customs and Immigration. Old Sarum is often visited by Special Branch when trips are organised.

REQUIRMENTS

1) Travelling to the Channel Islands you are required to give 12 Hrs notice before departure.

2) Travelling to the Continent you are required to give 4 hrs notice but requested to give 12 hrs notice prior to departure
