The purpose of making PPR mandatory is to enhance safety, to ensure visitors have properly briefed themselves in advance, and have satisfied themselves, and us, that they and their aircraft are suitable for Spire View Airstrip, an often unmanned farm strip and may have crops on both sides. In so doing we hope that visitors will have a safe and enjoyable experience when visiting our airstrip, and that our neighbours noise concerns will be kept to a minimum.
Previous experience of flying in and out of farm strips is recommended.

- Circuit Height 1200 ft QNH
- Overhead joins are welcome but Pilots must be mindful of Boscombe MATZ
- All Circuits to the west
- Runways in use 01/19 (450 metres) and 04/22 (470 metres) both grass
- Blind calls on ch 129.830
- Beware of frequent military Helicopter operations in proximity of airstrip
- DO NOT overfly Coombe Bissett or Stratford Tony
